Pre-Health Professions Club
The purpose of the Pre-Health Professions Club is to foster community among pre-health students, raise awareness about on- and off-campus resources, and improve the success of pre-health students applying to graduate schools.
We hold many annual events to support students, including a healthcare career panel, CPR certification course, suture clinic, volunteering trips, visits by guest speakers, and biweekly meetings (every other Thursday at 6:15pm). In addition, student club leaders provide peer advising and mentorship to younger students as they develop four-year plans and search for clinical opportunities in Portland.
Student leaders also act as advocates for all pre-health students and coordinate with faculty and staff to develop meaningful curriculum and opportunities for students. To learn how to get involved, e-mail the Pre-Health Professions Club at healthpro@lclark.edu.
Community and Global Health is located in room 307 and 309 of JR Howard Hall on the Undergraduate Campus.
