For New Transfer Students

Transfer students enrich our community with diverse experiences and perspectives, and we invite you to take advantage of the range of academic opportunities at LC by exploring fascinating new subjects and delving deeper into areas in which you held an interest in at your previous institution.

Prior to registration, you will be matched with a Faculty Advisor in the department of your prospective major to help navigate your academic transition, and  Katie McFaddin, you advisor in the College Advising Center, is here to help, too. As you work through the items on your Transfer Student Checklist, you may have questions about transfer credit or registration that are answered in our Transfer Students FAQ.
