Isaac Lamb, director of the Immersive Summer Theatre Program

Isaac Lamb

Isaac Lamb (program director) is a directing graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television, founding director of the Broadway Rose Teen Summer Workshop, founding director of the Lewis & Clark Immersive Summer Theatre Program, and a company member of Third Rail Repertory Theatre. He is a professional actor, director, and educator with over two decades of experience in the field, including national Broadway tours, major regional theatres, and multidisciplinary theatre, film, and television projects. As an actor he spent seven years touring Broadway’s longest-running one person show, Defending the Caveman, as well as starring in television shows including The Rehearsal (HBO), American Vandal (Netflix), Portlandia (IFC), The Birch (CryptTV) and the films Lean on Pete (BBC/Film4), Test Screening (FrightFest), and North Starr (Sundance). Favorite directing projects include: the world premiere of Middletown Mall, The Music Man, Arlington, The Angry Brigade, and Annapurna (Third Rail); Hair and The Bells That Still Can Ring (Portland Center Stage); Once, Fly By Night, Ordinary Days, and the world premiere of Loch Lomond (Broadway Rose); Grounded and the world premiere of db (CoHo); Mother Teresa is Dead (Portland Playhouse); Junie B. Jones and Ivy and Bean (Oregon Children’s Theatre); The Wizard of Oz (PHAME); and Hildegard Von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum (In Mulieribus). After retiring from the road, Isaac was hired as the resident director for the national tour and Las Vegas productions of Defending the Caveman. Eventually Isaac met his wife, Amy, and they settled back in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, where they live and raise their twin children, Hazel and Ezra, and two precocious cats. Isaac has performed at nearly every major professional theatre in the greater Portland area. Proud member SDC, SAG-AFTRA, and AEA.

Merideth Kaye Clark Director of Vocal Performance & Music Instructor

Merideth Kaye Clark

Merideth Kaye Clark (Director of Vocal Performance and Music Instructor) is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Merideth studied Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University before earning a Master’s in Musical Theatre at San Diego State University. It was in California that she began her career as a concert artist and musical theatre performer, and she has since taken on major roles in theatres across the country.

Notable performances include: Elphaba standby in Wicked (First National Tour); Nancy in Oliver! (Seattle’s 5th Ave); Cathy in The Last Five Years (Portland Center Stage); Alice Murphy in Bright Star (Arvada Center); Carole King in Beautiful (Broadway Rose); Maria in The Sound of Music (Clackamas Rep); Clara in The Light in the Piazza (Portland Playhouse); Eva Perón in Evita (Northern Stage); Olivia in Twelfth Night (Alabama Shakespeare Festival); How the Grinch Stole Christmas (The Old Globe); Amazing Grace (Goodspeed); and Rose in Meet Me In St. Louis (Irish Rep). Merideth has participated in numerous developmental readings and originated roles in two off-Broadway musicals.

As a sought-after concert artist, she has been described as “plain astonishing” and “a masterful performer” with “powerhouse pipes.” Merideth cocreated the original concerts Winter Song (Portland Center Stage), Joni Mitchell’s BLUE , and Happy Days Are Here Again: The Music of Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, which are now touring internationally. She is currently developing a new musical called WAKEMAN , written by Jenn Grinels. A multi-instrumentalist, Merideth plays various string instruments, particularly the guitar, banjo, dulcimer, and viola.

She is also half of the acclaimed folk-Americana duo Siren Songs, which released their debut album in spring 2020. As a dedicated teaching artist, Merideth has conducted masterclasses nationwide. Her television credits include Portlandia and the Emmy-nominated Documentary Now! Original Cast Album: Co-op.

Julana Torres

Julana Torres

Julana Torres, known as “La Colorá” is a multifaceted artist gracing Portland and national stages for over 25 years. The daughter of legendary Broadway performer Julane Stites and renowned percussionist Bobby Torres, she has been immersed in the world of performing arts since birth. A graduate of Portland’s acclaimed Jefferson Dance Program, she further refined her craft with Eveoke Dance Theater in San Diego, The Royal Ballet’s Barbara Remington, Salsa Con Clave in Puerto Rico, and esteemed institutions like Peridance Capezio, The Broadway Dance Center, and Alvin Ailey New York, where she received a full scholarship at the age of fifteen.

Professionally, she has made significant contributions to the Portland dance community as the founder of the successful pre-professional dance program at Franklin High School. Additionally, she has served as co-director for the Ache Comparsa Group and the Orishas Traditional Dance Troupe. Her choreography and performances have been featured by prestigious organizations, including Disney, the New York New York Hotel, Nike, Will Vinton Claymations, the Oregon Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, and the Oregon Ballet Theater.

Beyond her dance career, Julana has appeared in Netflix’s Trinkets and the feature film Losing Addison. Her regional theatre credits include roles in productions such as Crowns (PPH), Evolve (Red Door Project), Between Riverside and Crazy (Artist Repertory), Water by the Spoonful (Profile Theatre), and the first revival of the one-woman show Mala (Coho) by Melinda Lopez. Most recently, she choreographed Jersey Boys for Lakewood Theatre, starred as Aurora in Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Stumptown productions) and originated the role of Iz in the world premiere of Reggie Hoops, written by Tony-nominated playwright Kristoffer Diaz.

Kent Wilson

Kent Wilson (Program Music Director and Vocal Performance Instructor) is excited to be working with this all star team! He is an award-winning musician, music director, vocal coach, and educator, who’s worked at many Portland theatres including Broadway Rose, Lakewood Center for the Arts, Stumptown Stages, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Students of his have gone on to complete degrees at Ball State, Abilene Christian, Grand Canyon University, and Oregon State. When not working in theatre, he is a middle school choir teacher by day, and staff singer at St. Mark Lutheran in Salem, Oregon.
