70% of L&C students are involved in the arts, including our dynamic orchestra

At Lewis & Clark, all students, regardless of major, have access to a conservatory-caliber education in a liberal arts environment—and 70 percent of them participate deeply throughout their time at L&C. Whether that is playing violin in the orchestra, trying a sculpture class, studying poetry with a National Book Award winner, or performing at the Fir Acres Theatre, you can explore the many ways in which art creates meaning and cultivates community. Our deeply talented and committed faculty will provide personal attention and supportive teaching as you develop your skill and imagination. You’ll work hard, and be rewarded with lasting friendships, artistic development, and preparation for an impactful, meaningful life after college.
