Thanks to the generous support of our community, this past year we have raised over 10 million dollars in support of Lewis & Clark, 1.6 million of which was raised for the Annual Fund, which makes an immediate impact on the areas of greatest need at the college. And when we say we empower our students to reach new heights, sometimes we mean literally! On one College Outdoors trip L&C students reached 15,000’ in elevation!
Through the more than 100 College Outdoors trips offered each year students have the opportunity to build on what they are learning in the classroom. Hiking, traveling, snowshoeing, whitewater rafting – no experience is necessary and everything is provided for these adventures, right down to the wool socks!

From career-advising, resume-building, and practice interviews, to creating opportunities for students to connect with potential employers, these programs give students a leg up when they graduate.

Watzek Library is the heart of L&C, nurturing curiosity and fueling the pursuit of knowledge that drives our students forward. It stands as a symbol of academic excellence, continually expanding its resources to meet the evolving needs of our community. L&C students have access to free course materials, robust special collections, interesting exhibitions, and personal instruction sessions and research consultations with librarians that set them up for success.

Athletics play an important role in the lives of our student-athletes. Our student-athletes are guided by coaches and staff committed to their success – in competition, the classroom, and life. Gifts help provide new equipment, well-maintained facilities, and numerous opportunities to learn the value of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
At Lewis & Clark, scholarship support is vital to supporting our students on their educational journeys. Scholarships give students access to the transformative power of higher education that they may otherwise be unable to afford. 99.2% of students are awarded some form of financial aid, 75% of which goes to meet need.
