Dr. Benjamin Meoz promoted to Assistant Dean of Campus Life
Ben Meoz will be promoted to the Assistant Dean of Campus Life effective July 1, 2022. Since joining the Division of Student Life in July of 2021, Ben has made significant strides in helping Student Life to re-imagine and improve upon the LC student experience. “Ben is one of the most innovative, organized and effective leaders in our Division,” stated Vice President for Student Life Robin Holmes-Sullivan. “That is why he was recently honored with the Student Life Excellence in Innovation Award at our year-end awards ceremony,” Holmes-Sullivan said. “Ben’s strong leadership and mastery of residence life have helped the Campus Living office to establish forward-thinking, long-lasting procedures and solutions to stabilize our staffing in that area and generate new resources.”
As the new Assistant Dean for Campus Life (ADCL), Ben will be responsible for the overall leadership, vision, and strategic direction to create a top-notch, dynamic, residential experience that will lead to overall student success. He will continue to provide oversight and leadership to the Office of Campus Living but now also oversee the Office of New Student Orientation. Ben will additionally work collaboratively and strategically to improve the Lewis & Clark First Year Experience, working closely and collegially with the new Director of the LC First-Year Experience in order to ensure an effective on-boarding and support structure for our first year students and explore the creation of living-learning communities and other residential living opportunities that improve student success.
Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students is located in East Hall on the Undergraduate Campus.
