Academic and personal growth.
What made you want to come to Lewis & Clark?
A desire to study the liberal arts, a curiosity to explore lots of things (both academically and in the outdoors), and a curiosity about Portland and the Northwest.
How do you describe the liberal arts?
A wonderful journey of exploring and finding your path.
How did you select your major?
I liked the content and the professors.
How did Lewis & Clark prepare you for your career?
Lewis & Clark helped me discover my strengths in analyzing information and also helped me develop my communication skills.
What would you say is the most important thing you learned at Lewis & Clark?
I love to think, learn, and solve problems.
What’s your favorite part or most memorable experience of serving on the Board of Alumni?
Getting back to our wonderful campus, connecting with students and my fellow Board of Alumni members. Plus, doing the Hood To Coast relay with L&C alums was super fun!
How do you encourage other alumni to give back to the college?
Get involved! Join your local Alumni Chapter, attend local L&C sponsored events in your area, come back to campus for Alumni Weekend or Homecoming, and of course, please give financially.
