Hometown
Major
Bio
I come to Lewis and Clark from Eugene, Oregon, a similarly rainy town two hours south by car (or two and a half by train) from Portland. My high school experience was punctuated by activism and volunteerism in various areas — including women’s rights, food insecurity, education, and environmental conservation — and at LC, I have decided to pursue a political science major along with a Hispanic studies minor. Putting to use what I am learning in classes for my major, I have become involved with student government on campus, serving as a senator my freshman year and chairing the ASB Health and Wellness Committee this year. I recently obtained my Wilderness First Responder certification on campus, an extension of my love for the outdoors, and the time I have left for things outside of school is put toward dancing, something I have been doing since I was three.
