Hi, I’m Shubhika Baral from Kathmandu, Nepal. Growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas, I have always lived in nature, which is part of what drew me to LC, its beautiful-forested campus and the West Coast in general. My academic journey has been influenced by economic systems and data manipulation and that has led me to major in Economics with a minor in Data Science. On campus, I work at the Watzek library and IT Service Desk. Beyond academics, I find balance and joy in exploring the outdoors, whether through adventures with College Outdoors or trips with friends. I also love cooking, meeting new people and always up for new experiences and connections.
