Bio
My name is Roma Taylor (she/her,) and I’m from Houston, TX. I’m pursuing a degree in economics with a minor in data science. Beyond LC, I aspire to use my knowledge of financial systems and economies to serve historically disadvantaged communities and promote financial literacy. On campus, I implemented a peer mentorship program on our rowing team to foster community and help novice rowers adjust to the team. In every aspect of my life, I look for how I can utilize my privilege and knowledge to address inequality and help create cultures of care. In my spare time, you’ll find me birding in Tryon Creek State Park, thrifting at the Sellwood bins, or having a cup of milky tea while reading a good book.
