This exhibit explores the student body’s reactions to the symposium over the years, 1965 to the present. This exhibit was curated by students Natalia Juliano ’28 and Santiago Gonzales Longhino ’25.

Members of the Fall 1983 Micronesia program are invited to reunite with their traveling companions at the home of David Toovy ’85.

A Legacy of Impact: Gift Planning for Family and Charitable Causes
Join estate planning attorney Jennifer Woodhouse ’03 L’08 and Assistant Vice President for Advancement Rebecca Holt ’01 G’09 as they explore ways to take care of your family and support charitable causes while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. Jennifer is a shareholder at Schwabe who specializes in ‎estate, charitable, and business transition planning, ‎probate, trust administration, and tax controversies.‎ With smart planning, you may actually increase the size of your estate and/or reduce the tax burden on your heirs. We will discuss gifts that pay you income, gifts that are tax-wise, and even gifts that cost nothing now and leave a lasting legacy for the future.

Soviet Union 1983 and 1985 Reunion 3:30 - 5:30
Come reconnect with Donna Seifer and the other friends with whom you traveled to the Soviet Union- back when that was a thing. Remember subbotnik, the banya, and waxy Vladimir Ilich Lenin? Let’s reassemble our kollektiv and catch up with one another.

Lewis & Clark Native American Alumni Association Reception 4-5 p.m.
The Lewis & Clark Native Alumni Association (LCNAA) is a community of Lewis & Clark alumni who self-identify as Native American and Indigenous and also welcomes allies who seek to serve and support Indian Country. Come enjoy refreshments, hear from the LCNAA leadership, and meet others in the community. All are welcome.

Class of 2015 Friday Night Social 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Catch up with your class of 2015 friends and their families at Oaks Park for some mingling and social time. Pizza and soft drinks are included. Alcoholic beverages, ride bracelets, mini-golf and roller skating are available at the park for purchase. 

Young Alumni Social 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Alumni who have graduated since 2016 are invited to mix and mingle at the Young Alumni Social. We will have special acknowledgement of the Class of 2020 whose on-campus studies were cut short, and whose graduation was virtual, due to the pandemic.

Food is a central part of Hawaiian culture and pā’ina is a way to bring people together and nourish their bodies and spirits. All alumni not celebrating with their class off campus tonight along with the classes of 1970, 1980, 1990, 2005, and 2010 will enjoy a delicious Hawaiian food menu together with music from the islands. 

Class of 1985 Friday Night Social 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Join your 1985 classmates and friends for a unique and memorable reception lakeside in Lake Oswego at Lake View Taphouse. This social includes heavy appetizers and drinks.

Peru Fall 1973 Overseas Reunion 7 - 9 p.m. 
This reunion is happening on the Willamette Patio at the RiverPlace Hotel. It includes appetizers, desserts, and no-host bar.

LGBTQ and Allies Drag Bingo 8 - 10 p.m.
Trail Room 
Come play a classic game of bingo with some classy Drag Queens! In celebration of Pride month, the whole L&C community is welcome to attend, this event is for everyone to have fun, and engage with both student and local Drag artists. Lets spread the love and play the night away!

Bright Eyes-A Memoir: Surviving our Monsters and Learning to Live Without Them
Join teacher, author and Ted Talk presenter Bridey Thelen-Heidel ’94 to talk about her award winning memoir Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes is a Zibby Award winner for “Best Story of Overcoming” and NYC Big Book Award “Distinguished Favorite.” A fierce advocate, Bridey’s work with LGBT+ youth has been celebrated by the California Teachers’ Association. She recently performed in Listen To Your Mother NYC and is often invited to speak about the resilience, optimism, and bravery we learn growing up with monsters.

Start your Sunday with a rousing game of America’s fasting growing sport. Born on Bainbridge Island, right here in the Pacific Northwest, Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. There will be open courts and Athletics Advancement Officer Doug Lennox, OLY, will be available in case newbies would like some help. Equipment will be available if needed. 

Brunch with the President 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Join President Robin Holmes-Sullivan and her wife Kathy to celebrate our alumni community. 

40th Reunion of the Kenya Fall 1985 Program 12:30 p.m.
Enjoy lunch and catch up with your traveling companions to share memories of this life-changing experience. The plan is to serve Kenyan food – crispy samosas, fragrant curry, maybe even ugali! Bring your memorabilia. There will be a video call for those who cannot attend in person.
