Schedule

Sunday: Welcome and Arrivals

• Campers arrive on campus: check in between 1 - 3pm.  
• Check-in, find dorms, explore campus, meet your roommates.
• Welcome dinner & icebreaker games
• Lesson on Introduction to Circularity 
• Evening orientation and RA group meetings in dorms
• Nighttime activity

Monday: Class Introduction and Columbia River Gorge Field Trip 

• Introduction to camp and the circular economy
• Guest speaker: Jim Fitzpatrick with Conservation International  
• Depart for a field trip in the Gorge!
• Pack lunches, dinner on way home
• Evening activities 

 

Tuesday: Class, Speakers and sunset at Council Crest 

• Guest Speakers: Lauren Zimmerman Onstad with Portland BPS, Scott Welch with Loopt Foundation, Pallavi Pande with Dtocs, 
• Lesson on ideation & prototyping 
• Team time
• Evening visit to Powell’s Books and sunset viewing at Council Crest

Wednesday: Site Visits & Learning

• Site visits: 
  • Looptworks 
  • Repair PDX
• Picnic lunch
• Team time
• Dinner with young alumni

Thursday: Mentors & Work Time

• Speaker: Admissions, Jessica Kleiss, Environmental Studies Professor at  LC. 
• Lessons on Lean Canvas business models 
• Team time with mentors help to prepare for poster session 
• Evening activities

Friday: Presentation Day!

• Poster presentations
• Q&A and Reflection time 
• Ice cream social & departures
• End of Camp 12pm
