John and Susan Bates Endowment Fund

John and Susan are long-time friends and supporters of the college.  John taught in the Business Program and was later elected as a trustee of the college, eventually serving three years as chair of the board. He is currently a life trustee. John and Susan led the overseas study program to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg in 1979. Gifts to the John and Susan Bates Endowment will be used to support the general operations of the Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership in perpetuity.

Ken Pierce Endowed Faculty Scholar

Ken Pierce inspired his students and colleagues through his restless and robust intellect, charismatic personality, and leadership. He never settled for the ordinary. The Kenneth H. Pierce Endowed Faculty Scholar not only provides funding to the center but will also honor and carry on Ken Pierce’s entrepreneurial leadership and pragmatic vision.
