7:00-8:15 pm Keynote presentation by Dr. Angel Hsu, Associate Professor of public policy and environment, ecology, and energy at the University of North Carolina UNC. The title of Dr. Hsu’s presentation is Sustainable Cities in China and the U.S: Harnessing AI for Climate Solutions. Her presentation will be followed by discussion and audience Q&A. This event will be held in The Council Chambers, in Fowler Student Center.

7:00-8:30 pm Panel discussion on the transition to electric vehicles. Panelists include: Paul Lackey, President and Engineer of EVDrive, Yan Liang, Chair of Economics at Willamette University; Kris Strickler, Director of the Oregon Department of Transportation; and Yizhao Yang, Professor and Director of the SCI-China Program, University of Oregon. This event will be held in The Council Chambers, in Fowler Student Center.

Join us for an interactive discussion to learn , share , and gain inspiration about approaches to sustainability, urban development, and transportation innovations in China and the U.S. Members of the public and the LC community are warmly invited to join us for this closing reception and networking event. This event will be held in Stamm East in Fowler Student Center. Registration for this event has closed. Please email lmundt@lclark.edu to inquire about availability.
