A summer program for high school students interested in health and healing.

Future Health Leaders is a week-long summer program for high school students held Sunday July 13-Friday July 18, 2025 on the beautiful Lewis & Clark campus in Portland, Oregon. Are you motivated to provide care for your community and the people around you? Join us! 

The program approaches health education for high school students by putting the following principles into practice:

The Educational Focus

  1. Research: Health-related investigations in labs and libraries both on and off campus.
  2. Practice: Hands-on certification experiences in lifesaving skills like CPR.
  3. Communicate: Public Service Announcement projects that address healthcare concerns that matter to you.
  4. Create: Humanity in healthcare with reflective writing and creative practice.
  5. Discover: The diverse range of healthcare careers and educational pathways.
