Kelly Hayes is a Menominee author, organizer, movement educator, and photographer. She is host of Truthout’s podcast Movement Memos and co-author of the book Let This Radicalize You, with Mariame Kaba. She is also the creator of Organizing My Thoughts, a weekly newsletter about politics and justice work, and editor of the upcoming book Read This When Things Fall Apart: Letters to Activists in Crisis. She has led countless workshops and has trained thousands of people around the country in direct action tactics. She has also served as a grassroots strategist, offering advice and analysis to groups across Chicago and the United States.

 

Sophie Lewis is an independent scholar, writer, critical utopianist, transfeminist, ex-academic and adoptive Philadelphian, transplanted from Europe. They hold BS and MSc degrees from Oxford University, an MA from the New School for Social Research, and a PhD from the University of Manchester. Dr. Lewis is the author of several books, including Full Surrogacy Now, Abolish the Family, and Enemy Feminisms. She teaches short courses on social philosophy and theory online at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, and you can find her essays at either patreon.com/reproutopia or lasophielle.org/. Future books by Dr. Lewis include an essay collection entitle Femmephilia (2026), and an intervention forthcoming from Penguin, The Liberation of Children (2027).
