The purpose of Black Flag Book Club is to read, explore, promote, and spread
awareness about radical writings (essays, books, short pieces ect.) and art on
philosophy, theory, and history with a focus on but not limited to: local and
international movements against oppression, carceral and institutional violence,
mutual aid, environmental justice, anti-colonization, and queer liberation. We will
investigate systems of domination and corresponding resistance through
bi-weekly meetings in which we will analyze, discuss—as well as re-publish and
design—radical literature, art, media, and events. Outreach will happen in order
to connect to the wider student body.
