Nhan Han ’27 (he/him)

Nhan was born in a small coastal village in Vietnam, where he spent his childhood swimming in the sea, enjoying fresh seafood, and exploring sea animals by lifting rocks to find them at low tide. Some of his fondest memories include playing hide-and-seek with friends in coracle boats. As a first-generation college student, he is passionate about using business and finance to drive social impact, which led him to pursue his education in the U.S. On campus, Nhan works as a Student Engagement Office Assistant and a Student Archive Assistant. He is also actively involved in global initiatives, serving as the Chairperson of Budget and Finance for the International Students of Lewis & Clark (ISLC). In this role, he has helped plan and host events such as the International Fair, Pumpkin Carving, Friendsgiving Dinner, and international student orientation. A fun fact about Nhan is that in high school, he was the president of Let’s Do It BinhThuan, one of the largest environmental organizations in his province. Through this initiative, he organized beach clean-ups and led sustainability education programs in different schools.
