International Affairs Symposium

The International Affairs Symposium at Lewis & Clark College shall be acknowledged as a
distinguished event within the academic and civic communities of Oregon, as well as the longest-standing student-organized symposium in the United States. The fundamental purpose of the symposium shall be to facilitate intellectual discourse through the structured confrontation of divergent perspectives. It is the intent of the Symposium to foster a nuanced comprehension of international dilemmas through rigorous debate. This event shall be organized exclusively by students and shall be dedicated to addressing the most pressing issues in contemporary international relations.
