Fellows

The Admissions Fellows at Lewis & Clark College are highly dedicated and involved students who serve a professional role within the admissions process. Their leadership responsibilities include interviewing prospective students, supervising student ambassadors, coordinating campus visits, and planning open houses and events. The Fellows are eager to share their L&C experiences with you!

Colin Blume ’26  

Hometown: Irvine, CA

Major: Rhetoric & Media 

Minor: Art History

Favorite spot on campus: Vaclav Havel’s Place! It is one of the best spots on campus to converse with my peers.

Favorite spot in Portland:  Rimsky-Korsakoffee House! One of my favorite night cafes in Portland does a great job of quenching my sweet tooth.

Three random facts about Colin:

1. I am an avid photographer

2. Reading in a bathtub is one of my favorite activities

3. The quickest way to my heart is hot chocolate

 

Bóde Dalton 25 (he/him)

Hometown: Idaho Springs, Colorado

Major: Rhetoric & Media Studies 

Minor: Hispanic Studies

Favorite spot on campus: South grad campus! I love hanging out on the huge lawn, especially when it snows!

Favorite spot in Portland: Laurlehurst Park! It’s beautiful, but in the summer and fall there are concerts which are always a great thing to do.

Three random facts about Bóde:

  3. My uncle wrote the movie RoboCop

Leah Marquez ’26 (she/her)

Hometown: Oakland, CA

Major: Sociology & Anthropology

Minor: French & Asian Studies 

Favorite spot on campus: I love the Frank Manor House because it is super beautiful and a great study spot!

Favorite spot in Portland:  My favorite place in Portland is Cafe Cinco Siete in Sellwood because they have the most delicious matcha and coffee syrup options.

Three random facts about Leah:

1. I have never been on a rollercoaster before

2. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would be bagels

3. I play ultimate frisbee

Olivia Townsend ’26 (she/her)

Hometown: Reston, Virginia 

Major: Computer Science & Mathematics: Concentration in Cybersecurity 

Minor: Health Studies & Data Science 

Favorite spot on campus: My favorite spot on campus will always be the Dovecoat! It’s a cafe on campus, and I love chatting with the lovely baristas there, and occasionally sitting down to get some work done. Most of all I love the espresso, thank you Danny for all the wonderful iced americanos! 

Favorite spot in Portland: The crystal ballroom! I’ve seen some of my favorite artists there and just in general Portland has a really great music scene! Bonus spot- I really love Rose City Coffee! 

Three random facts about Olivia:

1. I have a twin 

2. I used to work with turtles with disabilities

3. I have swam in Lake Michigan 

Sofia Piva ’25 (she/her)

Hometown: Costa Rica

Major: International Affairs

Favorite spot on campus: The lawn on the grad campus! It’s a great place to go at any time of the year to sunbathe or, on a snowy day, to sled down the hill. I love it when everyone gathers around the lawn for a picnic, enjoying a sunny day. 

Favorite spot in Portland: Junbi in Sellwood where they sell the best match soft serves, fun Boba and coffee! It has a great location because the whole Sellwood neighborhood has the cutest houses, restaurants and thrift stores to explore. 

Three random facts about Sofia:

1. love to stop and pet every dog if I can

2. I love tomatoes

        3. I would eat soup every day if I could  

 

Clare Corson ’26

Hometown: Berkeley, California

Major: Sociology/Anthropology 

Minor: Data Science

Favorite spot on campus: The lawn on our graduate campus by the beehives, it’s the perfect spot to hangout, especially on sunny days. 

Favorite spot in Portland: My secret river spot on the Tualatin River! 

Three random facts about Clare:

1. I spent both of my on-campus years in the Manzanita dorm building

2. I am nearing 300 playlists on Spotify

3. I’ve been to 5 continents.
