The Class of 2011 will reserve some tables at The ZED for this no-host Portland Pickles “Pre-func”. Leave your car parked where it is, and enjoy the stroll down to Walker Stadium. All are welcome!

This workshop explores dance improvisation and the five senses. Participants will practice “radical listening” through movement, bridging the gap between intellectual engagement and creative abandonment.

The Experimental Arts Research (EAR) forest is an outdoor laboratory exploring sonic, spatial, and ecological relationships. Located in the forest canopy behind the Fields Art Building, the site features soundwalks and audio experiments.

Note: The path is rough and uneven; for those off-campus or with mobility concerns, binaural recordings are available via the EAR Forest SoundCloud channel.

The EAR Forest is located behind the Fields Center for Visual Arts.

Shake off travel fatigue and restore your well-being. This session focuses on “feel-good” energy for both mind and body. All levels are welcome!

About the Instructor: Mia is a Portland-based artist and highly credentialed instructor, certified through Eight Limbs Yoga and Yoga International (Yin Yoga), with leadership experience at Shefayoga.

This class is located in the activies room on the bottom floor of Pamplin Sports Center.

Enjoy a dedicated lunch with your reunion class, featuring updates from classmates and group activities.

This luncheon will take place in Room #350, located on the main floor of Fowler.

Help us start the party on with bites, beverages, and wines from an alumni-owned vineyard. Featuring a performance by Sofi Nava ’29 and special treats from the L&C Latinx and Hispanic Alumni Association.

Wake up your body and sharpen your focus. Join us for an intentionally guided, all-levels yoga class designed to prime your mind for a day of discovery. This session will leave you feeling energized and ready to pursue your curiosities with clarity and intent.

Join Professor of Geological Science Elizabeth Safran, along with other faculty and alumni, in a discussion about how fresh approaches to a variety of environmental threats and challenges are being developed both at L&C with its new Environmental Innovation Center and by alumni in their post-graduation professions.

Join Professor Emerita of Biology for a walk that takes a look at how the parts of the forest work, forest history, and how to identify trees. Wear comfortable walking shoes (hiking boots not necessary) and bring water. If you have binoculars, you can bring them as well! The trail begins just inside Gate #2 near the Upper Griswold parking lot.

Join Professor Emeritus of History Stephen Dow Beckham for his lecture; “Oregon’s Native Americans: Modern Tribal Status and Economic Impacts” to explore the evolution of Oregon’s nine federally recognized tribes. Learn how their economic diversification is transforming tribal governance, infrastructure, and social services.

Following the lecture, join the Native Alumni Association for a First Foods tasting reception to celebrate L&C’s Indigenous collaborations and the Native Alumni Scholarship Endowment.

Professor Beckham presents “Fortune and Friendship: The Heritage Properties of Lewis & Clark College,” a lecture on the history, architecture, and stewardship of the college’s historic estate properties.

All are welcome at this signature annual event, which provides a dedicated space for L&C BIPOC alumni to connect, network, and celebrate our vibrant community. Discover how our Black, Native, and Latinx/Hispanic Alumni Associations are empowering current students to embrace their heritage and find mentors who share their journey.

This event will take place in the Armstrong Lounge, located inside the Frank Manor House on the first floor. 

Build your own self-sustaining moss terrarium! Part of L&C’s annual “Moss Appreciation Week,” this workshop lets you craft a cute, portable, low-maintenance ecosystem.

The Alumni Gatehouse is located inside Gate #4.

 Do not miss this moving highlight of Alumni Weekend, where we will learn about the history of the holiday and participate in a traditional libation ceremony. African drummers will then lead attendees to the Alumni Honors Celebration.

This event takes place on the East Terrace, located behind the Frank Manor House. It is accessible by walking through the main entrance or taking one of the paths to the back of the Manor House.

You can catch the hottest Student Engagement group on campus, Fire Arts, and their performance at Olin Courtyard.

Join L&C Community Partnerships and the Center for Social Change for an interactive workshop designed to equip participants with the skills to thoughtfully and responsibly engage with community members, organizations, and nonprofits. This workshop is recommended for anyone interested in impact-driven careers, volunteering, or building strong community partnerships.

Special Guest: Sarah Nedeau ’11, Senior Director of Programs at New Avenues for Youth, will be joining us to share her experience in the nonprofit sector and offer deeper insight into professional ethical engagement.

Facilitated by Nichole Champion ’25, G’27, with support from Jorge Orozco-Roller G’27.

This luncheon will take place in Room #350, located on the main floor of Fowler.

Close out the weekend with a special luncheon hosted by President Robin Holmes-Sullivan, featuring updates on the future of the college.
