What year are you: 3rd year
What Sport(s) do you play: Softball
At what age did you start playing your sport: 7 years old
What does IME mean to you: IME is all about inclusion and uplifting all the voices and members of our community. It is also a space for self-exploration and self-expression in relation to culture and identity.
What do you want students to know about SACA? I want students to know about the student-run portion of SACA and how empowering it can feel to connect with peers who can relate to you on deeper levels.
Come chat with me about: I am open to talking about anything. Personally, mentally, sports, relationships, etc. I may not always know what to say but I am always there to listen and help point people in the right direction if they need help.
Alex Litaea-Sniffen (he/him) ’26
What year are you: 4th year
What Sport(s) do you play: Football/Rugby
At what age did you start playing your sport: 13 years old
What does IME mean to you? IME to me is a place that supports students of all races. It gives a space where students can gather and be able to meet new people and hang out with peers while taking a break from an ongoing task.
What do you want students to know about SACA: SACA is a place for student-athletes to come together to support each other. It also gives a safe space for those who are stressed with life responsibilities.

What Sport(s) do you play: Softball
At what age did you start playing your sport: 4 years old
What does IME mean to you: To me, IME is a place where people of all cultures, identities, and races can truly be seen and celebrated. I think at a time where diversity and inclusion are being threatened, spaces like these are that much more important to uplift all members of the community.
What do you want students to know about The SACA: I want students to know that SACA is a safe space to talk with peers, friends, and teammates about anything. It’s also a place to connect with other student-athletes of color, find support and resources on campus, and help build a stronger community. Everyone is welcome to join!

What Sport(s) do you play: Volleyball
At what age did you start playing your sport: 12 years old
What does IME mean to you: Inclusion and multicultural engagement, to me, means that everyone from any cultural background has a space at the table, and can participate and engage in a supportive community that is accepting of anyone.
What do you want students to know about The SACA: SACA creates a space for everyone, especially student athletes of color, to engage with each other with no judgment, and everyone is included!

At what age did you start playing your sport: 8 years old
What does IME mean to you? IME is a space for people of any identity or background to come together and uplift each other. It is also a place for people to express and love their culture and identity through the community created by the IME.
What do you want students to know about SACA: SACA is aimed at supporting student-athletes of color, but also student-athletes in general! We want to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that provides resources for our peers inside and outside of athletics.

What Sport(s) do you play: Basketball
At what age did you start playing your sport: 4 years old
What does IME mean to you: IME is a place where I can embrace the diversity of the BIPOC community while making new friends along the way.
What do you want students to know about SACA? We aim to create a belonging atmosphere where everyone feels, heard, and respected.
