The Global Languages and Cultures (GLC)Living Learning Community encourages students’ language learning in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish, and enriches their cultural experiences. Residents are typically enrolled in various language classes and learn from one another and from Language Assistants who alsopromote programmingwithin the hall. GlobalLanguages and Culturesis a hub for students interested in global and domestic travel, cultural exchange, and exploring study and living abroad opportunities.

Global Languages and Cultures Buddy Program: Students can opt in to be paired with 1-2 peers interested in developing their language learning skills. The program is coordinated by a GLC RA and supported by the Interactive Learning Center.
Programming and interaction fromnative language speakers (exchange students and Fulbright scholars) representing Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish languages.
Access to a large community kitchenwith a GLC sponsored spice library showcasing cooking around the world.
Language library with books about international studies and language practice materials
Peer-led programming and community building by RAs who are passionate about language learning and global cultures. This includes game nights, cooking together, language movie nights, and more.
