What you need to know about Summer Housing

• Campus housing for the summer is available to LC undergraduate students, whether they are taking classes, working on campus, interning in Portland, or wish to stay during the summer.
• Bon Appétit and Dining Services will be limited over the summer; summer meal plans are not offered to summer residents.
• The OtterBus does not operate over the summer but the Trimet does.
• There are 3 summer Resident Advisors who live in the apartments over the summer. They will plan and host events for summer residents. 

Cost + Contracts

• We book and charge students for summer housing by the week. Weeks start on Sundays and end on Saturdays.
• Summer housing is
  • Apartment Single Room: $203 per week
  • Traditional Residence Hall Single: $182 per week
  • Traditional Residence Hall Double or Triple: $156 per week.
• Charges will be placed on student accounts.
• If you move-in or move-out of summer housing mid-week, you will still be charged for the entire week’s cost of housing.
• There is a $200 Summer Housing Deposit.

• The following facilities are open during the summer: 
  • Watzek Library
  • Mail Service
  • Pamplin Sports Center
  • As always, Campus Safety is open 24/7, 365

Week 1: May 8-16 - Only available to Spring 2026 residents.

Week 2: May 17-23

Week 3: May 24 - 30

Week 4: May 31- June 6

Week 5: June 7-13

Week 6: June 14 - 20

Week 7: June 21 - 27

Week 8: June 28- July 4

Week 9: July 5 - 11

Week 10: July 12-18

Week 11: July 19-25

Week 12: July 26- August 1

Week 13: August 2 - 8 (Last week of summer housing for those without a Fall 2026 contract.)

Week 14: August 9 - 15 (Only for students who are Fall 2026 residents.)

Week 15: August 16- 22 (Only for students who are Fall 2026 residents.)

Week 16: August 23 - 29 (Only for students who are Fall 2026 residents.)
