Housing Accommodations

Students seeking a disability or faith based housing accommodation must work with the Office of Student Accessibility or The Center for Spiritual Life to initiate the housing accommodation process and provide necessary documentation.

Please pay attention to Returning Student versus Incoming Student accommodation timelines!

2026-2027 Returning Student Housing Accommodation Timeline

Returning students seeking disability related housing and/or dining accommodations for the 2026-2027 academic year must have completed their accommodation process with OSA or the Center for Spiritual Life by April 10th, 2026.
- OSA will work with current students on housing, assistance animals, parking exemptions, modified meal plans, and academic accommodations after this date, but placement into accommodation housing during returning student room selection in April 2026 can not be guaranteed if the documentation process is not completed by April 10, 2026.
- Chaplain and Director of the Center for Spiritual Life, Hilary Martin Himan, will work with students on faith based accommodations after this date, but placement into accommodation housing for the 2026-2027 academic year can not be guaranteed if the documentation process is not completed by the deadline
Students approved for accommodations after April 10, 2026 will be placed on a waiting list for their accommodation and the Office of Campus Living will place students into housing that meets their accommodations as space becomes available.

2026-2027 New Student Disability Related Housing Accommodation Timeline

New Students seeking disability related housing and/or dining accommodations with The Office of Student Accessibility (OSA) for the 2026-2027 academic year must complete the accommodation process with OSA by June 15th, 2026. Click here to view OSA’s webpage.
- Chaplain and Director of the Center for Spiritual Life, Hilary Martin Himan, will work with new students on faith based accommodations after this date, but placement into accommodation housing for the 2026-2027 academic year can not be guaranteed if the documentation process is not completed by June 15th, 2026.

Students approved for accommodations after June 15th, 2026 will be placed on a waiting list for their accommodation and the Office of Campus Living will place students into housing that meets their accommodations as space becomes available.

Examples of Housing Accommodations:

ADA accessible room/ room without stair access
ADA restroom
Access to single user restroom
Single room or limit to only one roommate

Examples of Dining Accommodations:

Modified meal plan
Made without gluten (MWOG) meals
Meals made without specific allergens
Access to gluten-free kitchen

To move forward with disability related housing and/or dining accommodations, please complete the following steps with the Office of Student Accessibility (OSA):

1) Schedule an appointment with OSA:

Current students: Log into your Accommodate account and click on “Request New Appointment”
Incoming and prospective students: email access@lclark.edu or call 503-768-7192.

2) Send the Residential Accommodation Documentation form to your provider. After your provider returns the completed form to you, upload it to Accommodate. Log into Accommodate, click “Accommodation” > “Documents” > “Add New Accessibility Document”

Students with current OSA Housing Accommodations:

Students with OSA approved housing accommodations may be required to renew their housing accommodation on an annual basis.

To find out whether your housing accommodation is interim (temporary) or permanent:

Log into Accommodate.
Click Accommodation > Accommodation Letters.
Find the most recent Accommodation Agreement that lists your approved housing accommodation and click on it.
If there is a date listed under the approved housing accommodation, the accommodation is interim and must be renewed. If there is no date under the accommodation, the accommodation is permanent.
